Pack for there, not for everywhere

PackToWear is for budget travellers who want to look good on the trip without paying for checked bags or a big cabin case. Every guide answers one question: what do I wear in this place, in this month, and how do I fit it all in the free bag?

How we make the guides

• Climate: official WMO 1991–2020 climate normals, published by NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information. Temperatures are in °C, with °F alongside.
• What locals wear: only from sources we link, such as local writers, official tourism boards, licensed guides and first-hand traveller reports. If we can’t source it, we don’t say it.
• Bag sizes: taken from each airline’s official pages and re-checked regularly. Where an airline contradicts itself, we say so.
• Photos: free-licensed photos from Unsplash, chosen to show the named place and credited on every image (see photo credits).
• Products: we name real products with their stated dimensions and link to the brand’s own page. We don’t quote prices because they change.
